Keith Allen is a lifetime resident of Washington County, a graduate of Waterford High School in 1998 and Ohio University in 2002. Keith has been married to Shannon since 2002 and has two children, Peyton and Isabella. He joined Newton Insurance in 2002 and is now part owner of the business. His favorite activities include fishing, kayaking and trail riding. Keith has lived in the Belpre area for 16 years and currently works in our Marietta office.

Larry Newton, Owner and Principal Agent at Newton Insurance graduated from The Ohio State University in 1979. He received his Property and Casualty and Life insurance licenses shortly afterward. After gaining some experience in the field, Larry opened Newton Insurance in 1993. Serving on the board of an insurance company and a local bank helps Larry keep involved in the industry and community. A family man, Larry enjoys spending time with his three daughters, their spouses and his grandchildren. Larry counts every day a good one when he can hit the links with friends.

Cyndi Baker joined Newton Insurance in 2014 as office manager and customer service representative. She obtained her Property and Casualty license in 2017. Cyndi also holds Associate degrees from DeAnza College in Cupertino, California and Washington State Community College in Marietta, Ohio. Gardening and reading are some of her favorite pastimes. Additionally, Cyndi loves spending time with her husband, daughters and friends.

Kyle Allen joined Newton Insurance Agency in 2021 after spending 10 years in sales in the golf business. He graduated from Waterford High School in 2010 and Walsh University in 2014, and is excited to return to his roots here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. He is the younger brother of fellow agent, Keith. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys golfing, traveling, live music, and watching his favorite sports teams.

Lacey Lauchard graduated from Waterford High School in 1997 and received a degree in Marketing, Communications and MIS from Ohio University in 2001. She obtained her Life and Health license in 2022 and joined the Newton Insurance team that same year. She specializes in Medicare Advantage, Supplement and Prescription Drug Plans and loves working with clients to find the best Medicare solution for their specific needs. Lacey has been married to Ryan Lauchard since 2007, and they have three children Connor, Finnegan and Emilia. Lacey enjoys going to her children’s sporting events, relaxing with friends and family, swimming, baking, and yoga in her spare time.

Travis joined the Newton Insurance team in 2022. He has a background in banking and finance. Currently he is licensed in property, casualty and business and plans to obtain his life license in the future. He is working online toward his degree in Business Management. Travis grew up in the Waterford area and currently lives in Marietta. He has been a pee wee basketball coach at St. John’s Central Grade School. In addition, he is an officer in the Knights of Columbus. He likes to spend his free time golfing, going on Jeep rides, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.

Lee Barber joined Newton Insurance Agency in 2023 after spending 18 years in management and procurement fields. He specializes in business management and positive customer service. Lee graduated from Ohio University in Athens and actively follows Ohio Bobcats sports. Lee enjoys spending time with his daughter and son, fishing, live music and home improvement projects. Lee is our remote agent servicing central Ohio.
